The new regional office, located in Sherman just north of The Rail was completed this November. The building provides nearly 12,000 square feet of office space and has meeting space for as many as 70 individuals. The Village is excited to welcome this new addition to our community.
Open! Fire & Ale, SNAP Fitness and Verizon
These stores are North of County Market in the Rt. 66 Crossing Development Site. Fire & Ale is a sports bar with a great menu of delicious food. SNAP Fitness is open 24/7 to assist you in your fitness endeavours. The Verizon store offers the latest in wireless technology.
Sherman Police and Emergency Management Offices
This donated building (Illini Bank donated) provides offices, booking, training and Emergency Operations Center space. This has greatly enhanced the Village's ability to plan for and respond to emergencies. A open house is planned for in the near future. Stay tuned for further announcements.
In The Works! Rail Pointe Development
The Rail Pointe development project will bring to the community a unique boutique style shopping experience. Located just South of the new municipal park area it offers nearly 21 acres of development space. Infrastructure work was begun in the summer of 2012. In The Works! Municipal Park
The Village of Sherman just completed the purchase of 10 acres of land for Municipal Park. Village crews started infrastructure work this summer. Shaping of the land will begin in the winter of 2012.
