The Village of Sherman is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Police Officer. Candidates must be 21 years of age, have a valid IL driver’s license, and successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation.
Basic Law Enforcement certification and college education preferred but not required. Competitive salary and benefits package for full-time officers are set by collective bargaining agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police. Lateral police applicants are encouraged to apply.
