Village Trail Clean Up Success

  • 4/24/2022

Under the leadership of Lindsay Shaw, Brownie Troop Leader, members of Brownie Troop 6085, parents, siblings, and grandparents weathered the rain this morning. They all gathered at 8:00 am at the trail head of the Sherman/Williamsville Multi-Purpose Trail. The clean-up of the trail turned out to be quite a project!

Wading through mud and very uneven terrain, digging out metal items, siding, asphalt shingles, batteries, tires and more; these young girls did an outstanding community service. They nearly filled the 30-yard dumpster with material that was dumped in this area for more than 20 years.

That was not all.. they also planted wildflower seed bombs to bring more natural beauty to the trail. They were simply amazing.

Please join us in CONGRATULATING these girls, their parents, grandparents, and siblings for making our trail experience that more enjoyable!

Congratulations Brownie Troop #6085!
