Sherman Police Arrest Vehicle Burglary Suspect
Thanks to alert residents, Sherman officers were notified of suspicious subjects in the Flaggland Park Subdivision this weekend. They were reportedly entering unlocked parked vehicles. Suspects fled from police on foot. One juvenile suspect was apprehended, and a second suspect is still at large. A stolen vehicle and other property have been recovered. Sherman Chief of Police Craig Bangert said “This is a great example of crime prevention working in our community. Don’t be a victim. Continue to be vigilant: Lock your homes and cars, remove valuable items from sight and report suspicious activity to police.”
This is an active investigation which currently involves Sherman, Riverton & Springfield police departments.
